Set of 5 Fat Quarters - Rustic Charm (Blue & Red) manufactured by Textiles français, featuring five individual, co-ordinating designs evoking a typically French rustic charm. The designs are in chic midnight blue and tomato red, with white and cream shades. All 5 mini-scale designs work together.

100% cotton (printed), from France. Washable. Design scale and repeat information is provided below in the ‘Product Description’ section.

Each Fat Quarter is 46 cm x 56 cm (18 inches x 22 inches). Cut from 140 cm-wide fabric. Washable at 40°C. High quality. Ideal for all sewing projects.

There is one piece of each of the five designs in the set, each Fat Quarter piece measuring 46 cm x 56 cm (18 inches x 22 inches). Each fat quarter is hand cut and has 'pinked' (zigzag pattern) edges.

The five designs have been produced to work together in any project.

Printed cotton from France.

Whether for patchwork or for soft furnishings the cotton is of the highest quality and easy to work with. The cloth is 100% cotton and washable at 40°C.

All 5 designs are also available as cut fabric lengths from a half metre length increment upwards (always supplied in a continuous piece) in 140 cm wide.

The designs from left to right are:

1. GOOSE ON THE LOOSE (Midnight Blue & Tomato Red) - pure white background with pattern featuring blue geese with pretty red bows and blue goslings, interspersed with leafy branches, flowers and cute mini red hearts. Design repeat: 127 mm x 104 mm. The approximate size of the design elements: geese 20 mm x 20 mm - 27 mm x 17 mm, goslings 7 mm x 9 mm, hearts 3 mm x 3 mm.

2. CHICKENS IN LOVE (Tomato Red) - tomato red background with a cream printed design featuring hearts containing two chickens standing over a heart shape, the chickens' breasts having a heart pattern in red. Design repeat: 40 mm x 40 mm (half drop repeat). The approximate size of the hearts: 25 mm x 30 mm.

3. RUSTIC FRENCH BRETON SAILOR STRIPE (Midnight Blue & White) - a chic, traditional French Breton sailor stripe in midnight blue and white, with a rustic, lightly weathered/distressed look. Design repeat: 80 mm x 85 mm. The approximate depth of each of the blue stripes is 3 mm and the white stripes 2 mm. The design is 'railroaded', i.e. it is printed across the width of the fabric, in Breton stripe tradition.

4. GEOMETRIC FLORAL (Tomato Red) - tomato red background with cream geometric floral pattern. Design repeat: 20 mm x 33 mm. The flower heads measure approximately 20 mm x 17 mm.

5. SCATTER (Midnight Blue & White) - midnight blue background and white 'scatter' design. Design repeat: 40 mm x 40 mm. Approximate size of each line: 7 mm x 1 mm.
